Radical Honesty
by Brad Blanton
Great book! The power of telling the truth.
Jesus said "the truth shall set you free..."
Well, it's true. Telling the truth really is
freedom. Avoiding the truth and not living
our truth is the source of our misery.
Sounds simple perhaps, but not so easy to
do. If it were we would all be perfectly
honest (and happy). The book could have a
little more "heart" though. The author seems
a bit tough and dramatic at times. |

If You Really Loved Me
by Lori Gordon
A relationship is, after all, a set of
expectations, some conscious and some not.
It's those hidden expectations and
assumptions that wreak havoc in
relationships. Lori Gordon has become famous
for exposing these nasty little "love
knots." This book expands on her original
book entitled "Love Knots." A must read for
anyone interested in having a conscious
relationship. |

relationship, it takes just one. You. That's
right, you change and your relationship
changes by definition. It's you how hat
simple. This book teaches you how to do more
of what works and not focus on problems and
the past. If you're looking for here-and-now
practical, wisdom, this book is full of it. |

The Seven Principles for Making Marriage
Work
by John M. Gottman
John Gottman is the most distinguished
researcher in the field of marriage &
relationships. His books tell you what we
really know about happy, long-term
relationships, not just opinions from Venus
& Mars. Instead of trying to learn
ãrelationship skills,ä such as active
listening.Ê
Instead focus on those areas that really
make a difference like friendship,
admiration, and honesty. |

Taming Your Gremlin
by Richard D. Carson
This is a wonderful, entertaining book that
show how our "gremlin," a nasty,
psychological creature, stops us from having
fun and enjoying life. Humorous, light
reading with great illustrations. I
recommend it to all my clients. Donât be put
off by the playful title, this book offers
the reader profound insights into the
workings (neurosis) of the mind. |
